Description

The process of relighting images is pretty straight forward but it requires some understanding of form and light as well as a lot of patience. In this series, Jeevan takes us through all the stages of relighting an image from a keylight.

First, we'll plan our steps and prepare the image by creating a mask of the main shadowed elements. In the second part, Jeevan goes through how to construct an accurate shadow pass using the halfway to black technique. Lastly we create an occlusion pass, fix up any areas of issue and add some final touches!

Download the assets below and pull apart Jeevan's Photoshop file or try your hand at recreating it.
